JOB SUMMARY:
Speciality Chemical concern based in Midrand, has an opportunity for a temp Foreign Creditors Clerk. Report directly to the Financial Controller. Recent SAP experience essential.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Completed Matric, with 5+ years related experience in Foreign Creditors essential, with a book value R7m; approximately 100 vendors. KPI's include : the company’s monthly rental as well as two of their main transporters responsible for daily customer deliveries as well as moving stock (intersite branches), on average 70 x captures per month; including stock, non-stock and transport invoices; receive invoices from suppliers and Buyers electronically or originals (as per SARS requirements); check all details ie. Tax invoice, correct company name and address, VAT number, Purchase Order number, amount on invoice vs PO amount; Capture invoices in correct month on SAP, ensuring all invoice details are accurate ie. Supplier, invoice date and number, amounts excluding and including correct GL code allocation as per authorized PO in line with company LoA policy; Assist with the capturing of foreign invoices; matching of accrual and provision accounts; timeous processing of payment batches ensuring all invoices and supporting documents as per AP procedures and payment proposal are included for reviewers and releasers to check and load payments before due date; updating of payment schedule for cash forecast purposes.

Month-end accrual journals for expenses and other JNL’s deemed necessary ie. Incorrect department, GL codes allocated
