Forensic Investigation Manager – Financial Services

Preference will be given to BBEEE candidates due to BEE requirements

Location: Durban

The main focus of this position will include the investigation of complex fraud matters in regard to home loan applications, cybercrime and other complex special investigations relating to Home Loans industry. 

 

Key Responsibilities include:

• Performing due diligence on applications
• Quality review of credit applications
• Constructing cases and compiling documentary evidence to support findings
• Compiling reports and making recommendations on actions to be taken against perpetrators to safeguard the interest of the company
• Using knowledge and experience gained to initiate fraud training and awareness campaigns for this company’s zero tolerance culture towards fraud

 

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must have sound financial services or home loans industry experience
• Relevant 3-year qualification consisting of Forensics; Law or Commerce plus certification as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
• Post Graduate Qualification in Forensics & CFE certification
• 3 – 4 Years’ experience in forensics or fraud investigations within the financial sector is essential
• 4 Years’ experience in home loan fraud investigations
• 2 Years’ experience in cybercrime investigations
