SUMMARY:

Forklift Drivers position available in the Kempton Park area

POSITION INFO:

Purpose of the Role
To safely and efficiently operate forklifts for the loading, offloading, movement, and storage of cargo within the airport warehouse environment, including cold storage areas.

Key Responsibilities

Operate forklift to load, unload, stack, and move cargo and pallets
Handle airfreight cargo in accordance with airport and safety regulations
Ensure correct placement of goods in warehouse and cold storage areas
Conduct daily forklift inspections and report faults
Maintain accurate records of cargo movement
Adhere to health, safety, and security procedures at all times
Assist with general warehouse duties when required

Minimum Requirements

Matric (Grade 12)
Valid forklift license (essential)
2–3 years’ experience as a forklift driver
Warehouse experience (cargo or logistics environment preferred)
Cold storage experience (advantageous)
Physically fit and able to work shifts
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Must have ACSA permit
