Forklift Drivers with Reach Truck Licence

SUMMARY:
Our client, who is Africa’s leading branded food services franchisor, is currently seeking forklift drivers with reach truck licence to join their team in Glen Anil.

POSITION INFO:
Position: Forklift Drivers with Reach Truck Licence
Location: Glen Anil, Durban
Reporting to: Supervisor

Duties

• Load and unload deliveries and stack boxes for storage purposes throughout the warehouse.
• Operate the forklift and reach truck with utmost care to ensuring safety and efficiency in the storage facilities and warehouses in line with company policies, procedures, and quality specifications.
• Promote a safe work environment through responsible actions.
• Check and count goods for accuracy and/or damage. Take inventory as needed.
• Direct product to correct area in the warehouse.
• Report faulty equipment, damage to racks, and other safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric
• A valid Reach Truck and Forklift drivers licence
• Minimum 3 year experience.
• Contactable references
• Ability to read numbers and labels.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to pay close attention to detail and meet deadlines.
• Good physical condition.
• Able to work shifts.

Candidates who meet the requirements with the desired experience will be shortlisted. Preference will be given to candidates who reside in close proximity to Glen Anil and surrounding areas.
