If you are an intermediate to senior Fraud Analyst, with experience in data analysis & risk management and are looking for your next challenge – then we have an opportunity for you! We are looking for a team player to join a Banking team. This team is responsible for all things in the banking space. We are looking for someone who is not afraid of a challenge and enjoys working in a fast-paced, complex environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Fraud alert monitoring and reporting.
• Utilizing all the tools/reports/data available to handle fraud analysis, and investigations and audits effectively.
• Prevention and detection of fraud including identification of fraud patterns, syndicates and suspicious attempts of fraud.
• Perform gap analysis and identify areas that will strengthen fraud rules and engine to improve the efficiency of fraud identification.
• Verify activities through direct engagement with customers.
• Document all actions taken on a case.
• Investigate suspicious financial activity.
• Internal reporting of all risk information and findings.
• Reconciliation of fraud disputes and chargebacks.
• Preparation of reports, audits, and supportive documentation on fraudulent matters.
• Provide support to all areas of the business on fraud related matters.
• Keeping up to date with the ever-changing fraud concerns in the industry.
• Knowledge sharing within the team.

Essential Criteria
• 5+ years’ experience in data analysis, risk management environment and or banking industry
• Experience in fraud prevention, detection, and investigation.
• Relevant legal or compliance qualifications or equivalent.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Applications e.g. MS word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Teams.
• KYC Client on-boarding experience.
