A well-established tech company is looking for an experience Front End Developer to join their team. The company have been going for 20 years (they''re really stable but still have a startup kind of feel and continue to innovate). They work with an impressive range of customers - real household names - and their products deliver real value. They''ve very recently just signed up their first multi-national client which is a really big deal for them. It means that they''ll be able to start growing throughout Europe which will add a lot of new elements to their software.
They''re around 40 people in total, roughly half are on the Engineering side and the team are divided into smaller teams who have ownership of specific products.
They look after their staff really well - there''s lots of autonomy and you won''t be micromanaged. They really empower people to manage their own work and set their own deadlines.
The company has two main products, a large web application and a mobile application. The large web application is built in PHP & JavaScript. The Front End Developers role will be taking prototypes and turning these into functional front end builds - the web application is in a bit of a transformation period at the moment as they are re-factoring JavaScript & jQuery code into TypeScript and Vue.js. They are ideally looking for something that has experience with Vue.js but will consider someone that has strong JavaScript skills as well. You will work on this re-factoring as well as adding any new features.
You will go in as a Front End Developer but will never be limited to this at this company. They love people that want to learn as much as possible, so you''ll have the opportunity to upskill in areas such back end development, DevOps, mobile technologies and more!
