SUMMARY:
On the hunt for a Front-End Software Engineers in Cape Town!

POSITION INFO:
This role isn’t just about making things look good - it’s about making them work fast, feel intuitive, and scale across devices. As a front-end engineer here, you’ll bring designs to life using React, Angular, or React Native, building applications that are as polished as they are powerful.

You'll collaborate with designers and backend teams to bridge the gap between UX vision and technical execution. Every line of code you write will shape the way users experience the platform - and you'll get to iterate quickly in an environment that supports speed, creativity, and continuous improvement.

Duties:

Build responsive, high-performance UIs using Angular, React, or React Native.
Translate UI/UX designs into reusable, modular components.
Optimize front-end apps for speed, responsiveness, and accessibility.
Work with backend developers to integrate APIs and business logic.
Debug and fix cross-browser or cross-platform compatibility issues.
Document front-end components and development workflows.

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

Matric (Grade 12)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
Familiar with modern state management libraries (Redux, Context API).

Experience:

2–4 years of front-end development experience across web and mobile platforms.
Proven track record using Angular, React, or React Native in production.
Experience building and maintaining reusable component libraries.
Familiarity with REST APIs, testing tools (Jest, Cypress), and Agile delivery cycles.

Skills & Competencies:

Excellent UI/UX instincts with an eye for detail and consistency.
Understanding of accessibility standards and responsive design principles.
Knowledge of build tools (Webpack, Babel) and version control (Git).
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
Comfortable contributing to design discussions and agile sprint planning.
