Are you a friendly, customer-focused individual with a passion for great service?

Our client in Durbanville is a well-established supplier of quality "braai" accessories and consumables. They are looking for a reliable Sales Assistant who enjoys engaging with customers and thrives in a hands-on retail environment.

Own reliable transport and valid SA drivers licence is essential for this role.

Work hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00
Saturdays: Only when required.

POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS

Gr 12 or similar qualification
Valid SA drivers license and own vehicle
Previous retail or counter sales experience preferred
Strong communication and customer service skills
Honest, punctual and well-presented
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

DUTIES

Answer telephone calls and assist customers with enquiries
Assist walk-in customers with product selection and enquiries
Process sales transactions accurately
Maintain a neat and organised counter and store area
Restock products and monitor inventory levels
Provide product knowledge and recommendations
Handle customer queries and support the overall store operations
Administrative support where needed

Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience
