You will improve the performance of their website. This role will take ownership of their most important customer touchpoint, their public-facing website used to generate leads. Your key job responsibilities as the Front-end Developer (WordPress) in Cape Town:

• WordPress Webmaster
• Build custom integrations with their CRM
• CSS,UX and HTML Visual Optimisation
• Optimise speed and performance
• Implement SEO best practices
• Optimise workflow for content managers
• Maintain the universal look and feel across 9 different languages
• Backups and security
• Maintain staging and local environment
• Implement new designs and updates briefed in by the team

Requirements for this Front-end Developer (WordPress) job in Cape Town:

• Proven competency and experience with front-end development and building websites
• 3-5 years’ experience building and maintaining WordPress websites
• Experience with working on website speed and performance
• Must have website security experience
• HTML5 SEO semantics
• PHP
• Javascript & jQuery
• Git
• Pixel perfect realisation of designs
