4* Lodge in Klaserie is looking for a Front of House / Field Guide couple.

POSITION INFO:

Duties:

General administration, accounts and stock control.
Quality control of food, food presentation and service
Motivating staff and leading them.
Excellent Guest liaison skills
Have a strong eye for detail with regards to all lodge rooms, service & food

Requirements:

Grade 12
Minimum of 2 - 4 years in Front of House in a 4 / 5* Lodge
Computer literate
Excellent sales & customer care skills
Strong admin skills
Knowledge of stock control in bar, food & curios departments
Good organizational skills
Knowledge of reservations management systems an advantage
Well-spoken and well presented
Resilient & flexible
Strong leadership and communication skills
Must be able to work under pressure
Manage guest delight events with passion

Field Guide / Trails Guide:

Duties:

Assist in managing junior guides.
Make sure the guiding experience is of top standard.
Supervise and delegate tasks to the maintenance team when not driving
Make sure all guiding equipment is well looked after and clean.
Make sure all activities are safe for guests
Guiding, walking and activities
Hosting

Requirements:

FGASA Level 1 / 2
Full trails preferable, or close to completion.
First Aid Level 1
Previous experience in a 4* Big 5 Lodge / Game Reserve
Good track record
Good hosting skills
