POSITION INFO:
Requirements 1-3 years' relevant front-of-house, hospitality, restaurant, hotel, or venue experience. No formal qualification required. Valid driver's licence. Own reliable transport. Computer literate. Willingness to work flexible hours. Ability to communicate in and understand the predominant language or languages spoken in the company's trading area. Key Responsibilities Ensure that all front-of-house areas are serviced and maintained according to company standards. Maintain effective communication between front-of-house and back-of-house team members. Ensure front-of-house staff are correctly dressed, prepared, and ready to perform their duties. Support the implementation of company policies, procedures, and service standards. Monitor staff performance and ensure consistent service delivery. Ensure guests are greeted courteously and assisted in line with the company's service culture. Identify customer needs, anticipate possible complaints, and take appropriate corrective action. Handle guest concerns and complaints promptly, professionally, and efficiently. Support effective service delivery and queue management. Ensure cashier sales control sheets are balanced daily. Ensure enquiries and messages are handled accurately and courteously. Conduct regular checks of front-of-house areas and report maintenance, repair, or refurbishment needs. Assist with on-the-job training for staff members where required. Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and relevant South African legislation. Maintain a visible presence throughout front-of-house areas and engage regularly with guests and staff. Monitor client satisfaction and assist with quality-control initiatives. Maintain positive and professional relationships with clients. Complete and submit reports and administrative work accurately and on time. Monitor industry trends and make recommendations where appropriate. Support business growth and profitability through effective administration and asset management.
