FRONT OF HOUSE MANAGER - Spa

SEA POINT, Atlantic Seaboard - Western Cape (ZA)

Starting Date: A.SA.P / October 2023

Reports to: Spa Manager

TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:

Monday – Friday 08:00 - 17:00 (Opening) / 10:00 - 19:00 (Closing)
Saturday 09:00 - 17:00
Closed on Sundays & Select Public Holidays

PACKAGE POTENTIAL & BENEFITS:

R15,000-00 per month Gross Basic Salary (Based on desired experience & skills)
Personal Commission earned on Retail sold
Turnover incentive

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Must have reliable transport to Sea Point
Ability to work shifts as required seasonally & operationally (opening and or closing)
Beautifully groomed and professionally presented - you have to look the part
Qualified Beauty OR Nail Therapist
ITEC / CIDESCO / SAAHSP / City & Guilds
3+ years experience in similar senior position in Spa or Salon
Assistant Spa manager or Front Desk coordinator experience / Guest Relations Officer within Spa or beauty
Cruise ship employment beneficial but not required
Ability to pleasantly and confidently communicate in English with appropriate grammar (reading, writing and speaking)
Confident and experienced using Booking & Cash-up software systems (ESP / Chi-Desk / Iris / Salon Bridge etc.)
Must be able to work under pressure overseeing a VERY busy desk
Ability to manage multiple columns and schedule clients in a fast paced environment, without overbooking or errors
Knowledge of spa/ beauty & nail procedures
Focused and driven
Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision
