Fruit Accountant

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12
• Accounting degree
• More than 4 years experience as an Accountant
• Fruit / agriculture industry experience

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Accounting in accordance with IFRS for SMEs
• Review and perform reconciliations
• Monthly VAT reconciliation
• Weekly cashflow forecasts and cash analysis
• Administer debtors’ finance facility
• Debtor statements
• Weekly financial reporting
• Monthly management accounts
• Monitor accrual accounts
• Ad-hoc reporting
• Liaising with banks
• SARB applications
• Bank payment loading / authorisation
• Maintain and review costings
• Maintain fixed asset registers
• Assist in annual budget compilation
• Assist in quarterly management forecasts
• Assist with annual audit
• Monitoring of data integrity
• Perform production process in the system
