JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for an experienced and qualified Accountant who has experience with fruit exports and forex.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12
Accounting degree
More than 4 years experience as an Accountant
Fruit / agriculture industry experience

Duties and Responsibilities:

Accounting in accordance with IFRS for SMEs
Review and perform reconciliations
Monthly VAT reconciliation
Weekly cashflow forecasts and cash analysis
Administer debtors’ finance facility
Debtor statements
Weekly financial reporting
Monthly management accounts
Monitor accrual accounts
Ad-hoc reporting
Liaising with banks
SARB applications
Bank payment loading / authorisation
Maintain and review costings
Maintain fixed asset registers
Assist in annual budget compilation
Assist in quarterly management forecasts
Assist with annual audit
Monitoring of data integrity
Perform production process in the system
