POSITION INFO:

Our Client who has international offices is looking for Full Stack JavaScript Developers to work remotely.  They assist their clients to launch global campaigns at scale.

We are looking for an inquisitive and intelligent person to fulfill the role of Full Stack JavaScript Developer. You will be engaged in the full SDLC, participating in architecture sessions, planning and estimation, building software (including unit tests) and debugging software defects. You are also required to implement front-end designs from wireframes and design templates using React. Your experience in both back-end and front-end implementation will provide a unique understanding of the project and ensure synergy between client and server communication.

Job Requirements

Essential experience required:

• Passion for and experience in shipping high-quality software products
• Experience in building scalable web-based APIs
• Passion for writing readable and maintainable code when building systems and services - hold yourself and others to a high bar when submitting or reviewing pull requests
• An engineering mindset - your problem-solving skills are more important than your knowledge of a specific framework
• Drive for growth, and self-improvement, proven by continuous learning.
• Desire to work in a team of peers, where decisions are reached by consensus
• Desire to maintain, improve, and enforce standards, tooling, and processes.
• The ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with different stakeholders (e.g. Sales, Customer Success, Clients)
• A tendency to frequently question the status quo.

It would be to your advantage if you:

• Have experience with working in an Agile / SCRUM environment
• Have experience with accurate and consistent UX implementation
• Have experience with Node.js, React, MySQL, RabbitMQ, and Kubernetes
• Have experience with testing frameworks (Mocha, Jest, etc,) and Test Driven Development
• Have experience with or exposure to Twitter’s Public APIs, Dialogflow, and Datadog
• Practise extreme ownership
• Have a sense of humour
