Location: Johannesburg, In-Office
ð§ Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using Web Forms (VB.NET) and React
- Design and build scalable, secure .Net Core RESTful APIs
- Manage and integrate WCF services for application communication
- Work with Microsoft SQL Server to write complex queries and optimize database performance
- Write clean, maintainable code using JavaScript and CSS
- Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to peers
- Troubleshoot issues, debug applications, and ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new features and enhancements
- Keep up to date with emerging technologies and best practices

Requirements:- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or relevant experience
- 3-5 years' experience with Web Forms and React
- Strong hands-on experience with Web Forms (VB.NET) and React
- Proficient in JavaScript and basic CSS
- Solid understanding of .Net Core, C#, and VB.NET
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Proficiency in Entity Framework Core, LINQ, and ASP.NET Core
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and relational database design
- Experience with Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
- Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git

Advantageous Skills:- Experience in the financial services industry
- Knowledge of authentication protocols like OAuth, JWT, and IdentityServer
- Exposure to DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as xUnit or NUnit
