POSITION INFO:
Our client in Cape Town is looking for a hands-on and solutions-driven Full Stack PHP Developer to join their growing development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining web applications across the full stack, collaborating closely with Designers, Developers, and stakeholders.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
4+ years of full stack development experience
Proficiency in PHP and frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony
Strong front-end skills with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap
Experience with MySQL or MariaDB
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON
Version control using Git
Advantageous: knowledge of Vue.js, React, or Docker

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain full stack web applications
Collaborate with UI/UX Designers and other Developers
Optimize applications for speed and scalability
Ensure clean, well-documented, and testable code
Troubleshoot and debug across the stack
