JOB SUMMARY:
The Purpose of Your Role (Based in Gauteng) You will be responsible for developing high-quality web application components for our client in consulting space. You will design, code and unit-test new functionality in an Agile environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Skills Required

  • You have solid software design and programming fundamentals
  • You have experience with enterprise Java / Spring /Springboot / JEE
  • You have experience with in HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • You have knowledge of client-side MVC frameworks and/or experience with one or more popular JavaScript toolkits (jQuery, Backbone, Angular.js)
  • As a plus, you have knowledge of responsive web development techniques and/or Scrum Agile methodology

The Value You Deliver

  • Working closely with application owners, architecture and business sponsors
  • Rapid prototyping to validate good and bad ideas quickly
  • Writing source code, adapting existing components, and unit testing developed components.
  • Ensuring designs meet performance, security, usability, and reliability and scalability requirements.
  • Working under minimal supervision in collaboration with other engineer and analysts
