JOB SUMMARY:
The successful candidate MUST reside in or around Durbanville as the company is currently working on a Hybrid situation and you will be required to go to the office twice a week – Monday and Friday and if required once during the week.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for creative and highly skilled **NODE**, **TYPESCRIPT** and **ANGULAR**
software engineers to join and agile dev team on a Web App platform.

You need to be a curious and competent full-stack developer who doesn’t back down
from a challenge.

The company is an online platform for entry-level jobs. You will have the opportunity to help build a tech-solution infrastructure that solves one of Africa’s biggest socio-economic problems - unemployment.

Work as part of a dynamic team responsible for writing efficient and maintainable code, whilst adhering to in-house coding standards. You will work on the Web App that
encompasses a microservices (federated services) back-end, with a preference for GraphQL
and REST API, as well as two client-facing Angular projects.

You will engineer solutions to technical problems that satisfy both employer and job seeker
needs, contributing to the architectural design, development, and maintenance of existing
projects.

Requirements
• Language - TS/JS for both front-end (Angular 10+) and back-end (Node.js, Nest.js). The specific frameworks that you have worked with are less of a concern than your exposure to, and comfort with TS/JS.
• PostgreSQL and MongoDB in combination with Google Firebase. Exposure and experience with NoSQL and relational databases is a must.
• DevOps - AWS, DigitalOcean, Docker, PM2 and CI/CD for serving the Web App.
• Version Control - GitLab for repositories.
