SUMMARY:
Award-winning Catering Company specializing in outside Events & Weddings based in Linbro, Sandton is looking for an Events & Functions Chef to oversee the set-up and execution of functions & events.

This will include overseeing event staff, ensuring that events are set up as per function sheet and to the client’s satisfaction, making sure that food is presented well and looks appealing.

Ensuring that all items needed for the event is well packed and transported to the venue. You will also be responsible for handling all guest complaints and queries.

We are looking for a mature and experienced candidate with an eye for detail, well presented with excellent communication skills. You will be flexible regarding working hours and available over weekends and evenings for functions.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Grade 12
A formal qualification (Prue Leith & Christina Martin preferred)
At least 2 – 3 years’ experience in high end catering / hotels or restaurants
Valid drivers license and own transport
Well-spoken and well presented
Flexible regarding working hours
