JOB SUMMARY:
A well-established award-winning fund provider of corporate and private wealth services is seeking a fund manager to manage the overall service delivery of the funds accounting team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Ensuring that the valuations are performed accurately within deadlines
Valuations are distributed accurately and on time to all parties
Compliance checks and reporting are completed accurately
Ensure client queries are responded to and resolved to client satisfaction
Plan and monitor resources and resource capacity within an allocated team
Organize and hold regular meetings with the team to ensure communication and correspondence
Check statutory returns in order to ensure the company’s fund regulatory obligations
Reviewing investment transactions and setting-up and capturing of investment transactions
Supervise others to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of the team in executing deliverables
Investigate, report, and implement the required corrective and/or preventative action for all operational errors

Skills
Exposure/experience in checking and supervising the work of other team members
Excellent numeric skills and attention to detail
Exposure/Experience in dealing and interacting with clients
Good technical knowledge of accountant standards (IFRS/UK GAAP/US GAAP & Other)

Qualification requirements:
CA(SA), or ACCA or equivalent
Minimum 5 years’ experience in investment fund administration or related experience
