Fund Specialist

Fund Specialist with B.Comm Investment or similar degree and preferably CFA (or studying towards qualification/Hons Degree in Investment) and minimum 2 years’ investment industry experience, required to develop and maintain relationships with FA’s for this FSP, based in Midrand, Gauteng.

Minimum requirements:

• B.Comm Investment or similar degree essential
• CFA qualification or Honours Degree in Investment highly advantageous
• Minimum 2 years’ investment industry experience required
• Established advisory relationships will be advantageous
• Understanding of the SA and global macro economic environment required
• Knowledge to explain why funds are positioned (equities, cash, bonds, etc) in a certain manner, is required

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with Financial Advisers
• Fund Specialist responsibilities and marketing range of Unit Trust Funds to Retail Multi Managers and high profile FA Practices within the independent and corporate market
• Building Asset Management brand in the retail industry
• Relationship management with FA Practices
• Analyse target market to identify new business opportunities
• Prepare and execute business development stratetgy
