Our client, based in Johannesburg, is currently looking to employ a experienced and dynamic General Manager.

Purpose of the position:

• This position involves being responsible and accountable for the efficient management of the companies South Africa business operation, across all departments; taking full ownership for the profitability and day to day running of the said operation.
• This position involves decision making across all the full business including;
  • sales,
  • customer relations / customers engagement,
  • marketing,
  • operations,
  • strategic ownership of sales and marketing strategies, business plans and operational efficiency.

Qualifications / High Level Experience:

• A recognized Degree or higher Business and/or Science qualification along with 10 - 15 years sales and/or product management experience is essential.
• MBA preferred but not required.
• Good analytic and problem solving skills.
• Strong sales and business development track record and high level negotiation skills.
• Ability to communicate at all levels.
• Skills and experience to understand and interpret various financial reports.
