POSITION INFO:

Our client, based in Johannesburg, is currently looking to employ a experienced and dynamic General Manager.

Purpose of the position:

This position involves being responsible and accountable for the efficient management of the companies South Africa business operation, across all departments; taking full ownership for the profitability and day to day running of the said operation.
This position involves decision making across all the full business including;
- sales,
- customer relations / customers engagement,
- marketing,
- operations,
- strategic ownership of sales and marketing strategies, business plans and operational efficiency.

Qualifications / High Level Experience:

A recognized Degree or higher Business and/or Science qualification along with 10 - 15 years sales and/or product management experience is essential.
MBA preferred but not required.
Good analytic and problem solving skills.
Strong sales and business development track record and high level negotiation skills.
Ability to communicate at all levels.
Skills and experience to understand and interpret various financial reports.
