About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled GL Consolidation Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing month-end reporting, financial control, and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS standards. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant with strong technical accounting expertise, consolidation experience, and proficiency in SAP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead month-end reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.

• Oversee the financial control of the balance sheet and perform reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.

• Manage group consolidations, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

• Provide technical accounting support across the group, assisting with complex queries and policy enforcement.

• Collaborate with finance teams across multiple entities, ensuring seamless financial reporting.

• Ensure adherence to IFRS guidelines and maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving accounting standards.

• Utilize SAP to manage and analyze financial data efficiently.

Key Requirements

• Qualified accountant with at least 3+ years post-qualification experience (PQE).

• Previous experience within a multi-entity or PLC environment, ideally in a global company.

• Solid expertise in consolidations and group financial reporting.

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and technical accounting principles.

• SAP experience required.

• Preferably industry experience (not necessarily airline-related); Big 4 background is acceptable but not required.
