SUMMARY:
GMR(2) Mechanical Engineer

POSITION INFO:

Main job function
• Company is seeking a well rounded candidate that can manage following KPI’s
• Maintenance management
• Capital and maintenance Budget Management and compilation
• Safety management – put better safety regulations in place
• Play active role in EHS, TPM and quality systems, procedures and continuous improvements
• Manage all engineering contractors
• Manage +- 6 staff at wadeville plant and 6 staff and Durban plant
• Contract management

Qualifications
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (min: 7 years maintenance management experience in chemical or related industry) or
• Btech / NHD in Mechanical Engineering with Government Certificate and 10 years Maintenance management experience

Criteria
Important notes: Must have chemical manufacturing sector experience , stable track record of candidates staying at a company minimum of 3 years
