JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client in Franschhoek is looking to employ a Gate Guest Assistant.

You will excel in this role if you are enthusiastic and passionate about welcoming guest. The ability to go
the extra mile and exceeding guests’ expectations will also result in you being successful in this role.

Experience and skills:
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the same or similar environment
• Previous access control experience would be advantageous
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Sound observational skills
• Ability to follow the set standards as expected by the company
• Must be able to demonstrate acceptable approach to getting work done, adjusting to changing
circumstances and demands
• Ability to work safely and effectively when under pressure
• Be flexible to assist in other departments

Inherent Requirements:
• Matric would be advantageous
• Valid Driver’s license with PDP
• Ability to work shifts including weekends, public holidays and night shifts
• COVID-19 vaccination mandatory
• Preference will be given to candidates from Franschhoek and neighbouring areas

Main Responsibilities:
• Maintains gate security by controlling access to the premises while directing visitors to the locations
they are visiting
• Patrol, observe and report on security and health and safety matters
• Provide professional service delivery to the highest level of responsiveness, care and attention to
safety reliability
