SUMMARY:
Position: General Administrator / Debt Collection Administrator
Salary: R10,000ctc - R14,000ctc (negotiable depending on experience)

POSITION INFO:
A well know law firm is seeking a reliable and capable Debtors Collector / General Administrative Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will assist with debt collection functions as well as general administrative duties within the firm. The role requires strong computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with legal documentation and software.

Minimum Requirements

The ideal candidate must meet the following criteria:

2 years experience within administration
Intelligent, proactive, and willing to learn
Computer savvy
Prior experience working in a law firm, including exposure to legal software
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Proficiency in reading and understanding English and Afrikaans emails and file contents would be preferred
Strong administrative and organisational skills

Debtors Collection Requirements:

Previous debt and/or account collection experience
Ability to follow up on outstanding accounts professionally
Good communication skills (written and verbal)

Additional Information

Salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, and workload
Candidates with broader skill sets and experience may be allocated additional responsibilities with corresponding remuneration
Where skill levels are limited, certain tasks may be allocated to other staff members
