SUMMARY:
Are you a detail-driven cost accounting professional ready to step into a role where your insights directly influence operational performance? Our client, a respected leader within the fleet-intensive/heavy industry environment, is seeking a General Cost Accountant to strengthen their financial team. This role would be based in Kempton Park, Gauteng.

POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description:
In this critical role, you will support business decision-making by providing accurate costing data, insightful analysis, and process optimisation across operations. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

Performing cost analysis, cost allocation, and variance reporting
Maintaining and updating cost models and standard costings
Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives
Monitoring operational expenses and identifying areas for savings
Preparing detailed management reports for operational and financial stakeholders
Ensuring system accuracy and efficiency within Syspro

Job Experience and Skills Required:).

A Degree in Cost Accounting or a related financial qualification
3–5 years of costing experience (preferably in fleet-intensive, heavy industry, or similar)
Syspro experience – essential
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
