SUMMARY:
Job Description:
A well-established manufacturing company exporting to over 50 countries seeks a hands-on General Manager to oversee production, sales, finance, operations and logistics. The role requires a technically minded leader who thrives on the factory floor, leads by example and manages cross-functional teams.

POSITION INFO:
Technical Expertise:

Materials performance, coatings and industrial fabrication.
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and CAD models (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino).
Basic engineering principles: stress points, load calculations and material strength.
Machine operation and maintenance (sewing, welding, cutting, assembly).
Rigging and installation techniques.
Health & safety compliance (OHS, ISO 9001).

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy: Drive company performance, growth, and operational efficiency.
Production & Operations: Ensure quality, timely delivery, lean processes, and compliance.
Sales & Export: Grow domestic and international sales, strengthen customer relationships, and maintain export standards.
Finance & Commercial: Manage budgets, P&L, and cost efficiency.
People & Culture: Lead by example, mentor managers, and foster teamwork and accountability.

Key Requirements

Senior management experience in manufacturing (textiles, industrial equipment, or related).
Technical proficiency: drawings, CAD, machine operations.
Knowledge of ISO 9001, compliance and export standards.
Broad experience in finance, HR and operations.
Hands-on leadership and strong commercial acumen.
