An outstanding Luxury Safari Lodge is looking for a GENERAL MANAGER

POSITION INFO:
Candidate Requirements:

• Must be a Botswana resident/ have a valid work visa
• Minimum of 3 years working experience in a luxury safari Lodge environment as Lodge Manager/ GM
• Must have a passion for the outdoors and nature
• International work experience is essential
• Must have excellent financial acumen
• Strong passion for excellence and must be committed to the development of the lodge and the teams
• Must have a hands-on, can-do attitude
• Must have demonstrated the ability to change management and move projects forward from beginning through to the end

• Act as a business owner with overall responsibility for the Lodge’s business success and operational processes and execution
• Achieve and exceed the safari lodge targets in terms of guest satisfaction, quality assurance and financial metrics
• Develop a strong culture that attracts top talent and connects to the community
• Ensure guest expectations are exceeded by establishing a dynamic and enthused culture for service delivery
• Be a visible presence for all guests and employees to lead the way as an ambassador
• Elevate the brand through your passion for excellence and knowledge of the hospitality industry
• Implementation of divisional and global initiatives as required
• Have a focus on strategy and reporting to ensure stakeholders are fully up to date throughout the elevation and change process
