POSITION INFO:

The Ideal Candidate

• Must have a minimum of +-8 years General Manager experience.
• Must come from a manufacturing industry.
• Must have full production knowledge and must be familiar with manufacturing processes.

Duties include:

• Provides the vision, sets the direction of the company, and inspires others to deliver on the organization mandate.
• Apply the policies and guidelines as issued by the executive committee of the group.
• Define business objectives through budget and strategic planning.
• Monitor the development of the results of the company and carry out final responsibility for achieving these objectives.
• Report on the financial results of the company.
• Ensure that ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management system is maintained within the company through delegation to all responsible employees.
• Makes all decisions related to the company within the general guidelines and limits of authority of the company.
• Submits annual operating budgets and investment expenditure budgets to the company’s executive committee for approval.
• Selects and appoints immediate subordinates if necessary, together with the CEO, and delegates to each of them responsibility and accountability. However, does not delegate overall responsibility.
• Makes final decisions on pricing strategy and delegates specific pricing authority.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualification – BCom in Manufacturing / Production/Business Administration/Management or any related qualification.
