The Capital Zimbali is recruiting a General Manager - based in Ballito.

POSITION INFO:

Located in the natural beauty of the Zimbali Coastal Resort, the THE CAPITAL ZIMBALI RESORT HOTEL will be a maker of fond memories, for both business and leisure guests. This retreat with fully furnished apartments and hotel rooms, offers contemporary styling with unrivalled service. There are many opportunities to make memories and relax at the themed restaurants and bars on site, including a spa and golf course.

Here’s what you need to have waxed to be great in in this role:

Hands on Problem Solving approach and the ability to remain calm under pressure
5 - 10 Years previous General Management experience of 4* or 5* Property (150 Rooms+)
Experience in Hotel management software and Point of sale software
Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
Effective communication with members of staff as well as Guests of the Hotel
Honest and trustworthy beyond approach
Great attention to detail
Presentable and well spoken
Team Player who leads by example
Proactive in approach
Interpersonal skills
Leadership skills
Matric
Hotel Management Diploma or equivalent
Previous Resort General Management experience essential
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Management or Economics beneficial
