General Manager: Enterprise Risk

SUMMARY:
Our prestigious client in the Financial Public Sector has an excellent opportunity available for a General Manager: Enterprise Risk.  This will be an EE opportunity, based in the Centurion area.

POSITION INFO:

Preferred minimum education and experience requirements:

• Relevant 4 year tertiary qualification (B Com, BA, LLB, Risk Management, Business Management or related) – Postgraduate
• 8 -10 Years’ experience in Enterprise Risk Management, Compliance, Ethics, Governance
• Knowledge and understanding of: policies and procedures, risk environment, legislation, risk modelling (qualitative and quantitative), legal, governance
• Experienced in MS Office
• Travel as and when required

• Design, Developing, Driving and Integrating the Enterprise-wide Risk Management framework within the Organization
• Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance
• Design, Develop and implement Ethics Policy
• Identify, Assess and Manage and report relevant risks in respect of the Enterprise Risk Framework
• Identify the relevant role players in accordance with business requirements and dependencies
• Develop appropriate monitoring and evaluation systems
• Provide an independent evaluation of treasury compliance with approved limits
• Monitor market and interest rate risk in terms of Treasury exposure
• Manage Business Intelligence
• Determine the human resource requirements, in accordance with the expected deliverables and current capacityPursue divisional targets and manage the financial health and stability of division
