POSITION INFO:

ð What You’ll Be Responsible For:

Leading and managing the full spectrum of financial services for the division.
Reviewing monthly management accounts and driving actionable insights.
Performing operational analyses to identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities.
Overseeing internal controls, working capital (debtors, creditors, inventory), and payroll.
Ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
Monitoring KPIs and financial targets, particularly in the supply chain domain.
Managing treasury operations, banking relationships, and foreign exchange contracts (FECs).
Compiling financial reports, implementing IFRS updates, and managing budgets & forecasts.
Handling procurement oversight, stock controls, and supplier/customer data integrity.
Providing high-level financial analysis for strategic projects and ad-hoc needs.

ð What We’re Looking For:

CA(SA) or CIMA-qualified – this is non-negotiable.
At least 5 years’ post-articles experience in financial management.
Experience in the retail or wholesale sector is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of forex accounting, hedging, and import processes.
Expertise in IFRS, VAT, corporate tax, and local financial regulations.
Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
Background in project environments is a plus.
