General Manager Information Security and Architecture

POSITION INFO:

You will be responsible for managing the Information Security Architecture, Strategy and Technical Excellence via a team of technical experts who provide technical guidance, support, problem resolution and upskilling to the Group functions and Opco’s across Cloud, DigiFin, Network Defence, Middleware, IP network, and technical platforms (OS, DB etc), ensuring the integration of technical security expertise within the security functions. The role is responsible to align Information Security with the companies business priorities to drive future business growth and operational excellence by creating and maintaining a 5-year strategic roadmap. This role is pivotal is assisting the Opcos in providing Information Security insights and analysis to be integrated to the relevant planning and budgeting functions. The critical success factors of the role will include Industry Information Security alignment appropriate to a pan-African organisation, and adoption of Information Security strategy as a key enabler in business planning. The General Manager will be accountable for managing and driving the process of securing enterprise information by determining security requirements, including planning and preparing security architecture standards.
