SUMMARY:
Senior management position where the complete senior management team will report directly to the GM. Full divisional function within the Group: Lean Manufacturing implementation and the management thereof. Defining long-term strategic goals and developing clear plans to implement them.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

Defining long-term strategic goals and developing clear plans to implement them.
Improving internal processes and ensuring employees work as a cohesive unit. Anticipate client needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
Result driven
Leadership skills and ability to manage staff
Strong decision-making and problem solving skills
Implementation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for plant management
Adherence to Group Policies and Procedures
The ability to look for continuous improvement within the manufacturing processes & to adhere to the Group standards.
Ability to enforce and maintain high standards, even under pressure.
The implementation of SAP in the near future
Supporting key account manager in retention of existing clients.
Responsible for the targets set for the Plant & to make sure they are met
Prepare annual budget
Responsible for profitability for plant & Manage budgets
Accountable for all labour matters

Education

MBA degree or equivalent - essential
Maintenance experience
Marketing experience

Requirements

Involvement on Group level
Minimum of 7-years relevant Manufacturing industry experience
Minimum of 5-years Senior Management experience
Computer literate essential: ERP systems experience
Excellent communication skills of the English language. Fluent in Afrikaans due to client base. Ability to communicate in German will be advantageous.
