General Manager – Operations Solutions – Multiclient

   Multinational, leading supplier of global solutions within the transport logistics industry, operating in South Africa and Africa, are looking for an experienced GM – Operations Solutions to join their team.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that multi-client operations are managed in accordance with the organisations standards, policies and procedures and ensure that their strategy, goals and initiatives are cascaded down through the various operations; ensure efficiency and contract adherence in terms of client relations, operational performance, commercial and financial performance, people management and continual improvement initiatives, ensuring regional profitability and business growth, taking ownership and managing multiclient warehouse operations; implement , maintain and improve best industry warehousing practices; identify, drive and implement improvements in support of productivity and cost savings.

High level KPI’s include managing multi-client operations; client relationship management; meeting / exceeding commercial and financial KPI’s; ensuring operational performance; people management and managing client expectations

Matric essential. Related degree / B.Tech in related disciplines OR 5 – 10 years relevant industry experience, including solid experience in the warehouse, logistics industry; excellent knowledge of ERP and WMS systems, generation of KPI / SLA / Trend reports as excellent Excel / PowerPoint skills
