Our client in Porterville is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused General Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to the local community. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of medical conditions while delivering high-quality, ethical, and compassionate care.

POSITION INFO:
Description:

• Provide primary medical care, including consultations, examinations, diagnosis, and treatment of patients.
• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions in accordance with clinical best practices.
• Prescribe medication and treatment plans responsibly and accurately.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records.
• Refer patients to specialists or hospitals when necessary.
• Promote preventative healthcare and patient education.
• Ensure compliance with medical, ethical, and legal standards.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree.
• Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
• Valid medical indemnity insurance.
• Fluent in Afrikaans (essential); English proficiency advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical medical practice.
• Willing to relocate
• Own reliable transport & valid drivers license
