General worker

SUMMARY:
A large and reputable company in the Irrigation Industry within Potchefstroom is recruiting for skilled and experienced general workers.

POSITION INFO:
Experience
At least one (1) years’ experience in terms of performing the function of a general worker within the manufacturing or receiving and dispatching industry.

Level of education / qualification
Grade 12, Matric or equivalent.
Forklift license will be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Efficient handling of stock
• Assist supervisor with any task which may be required
• Follow all procedural requirements and actions
• Keen focus on efficiency and productivity
• General housekeeping
• Sound know-how of scanning, labelling and packaging procedures
• Pick and pack merchandise according to the required standards and procedure

• A strong commitment to productivity
• Reliable, responsible and to portray a positive attitude at all times
• Ability to apply basic mathematic skills
• Able to understand and process information and tasks
• Able to work shifts and on weekends
• Own transport is essential
