Global Access, Connectivity Solutions Manager â€“ Kenya

POSITION INFO:

Position Overview:

A global leader in the molecular diagnostics industry has a new opportunity available for a Global Access, Connectivity Solutions Manager, located in Nairobi, Kenya.

One will be the link with external stakeholders at the regional level, maintain key relations with internal stakeholders (Global Marketing/Product Development, Customer Care, Regional Commercial teams) and ensure the companies’ connectivity strategy fits in correctly.

Essential Qualifications and Experience required:

Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of related work experience OR Master’s degree in field with 6+ years of related

work experience

Working knowledge of the healthcare information technology landscape, clinical workflow, and laboratory testing interoperability
Demonstrated knowledge of process improvement and laboratory optimization
Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7, ASTM, FHIR, POCT01A, LOINC,

SNOMED

Experience with database administration with emphasis in emerging technologies
Deep knowledge on telecommunication and engineering industry
Broad understanding of international information security standards and patient confidentiality in Healthcare
Experience with networking protocols and data encryption standards
Ability to interface at a highly technical level with assurance and confidence
Experience in Global Health is essential
Language: English fluency, French desirable
