POSITION INFO:

Position Overview:

A global leader in the molecular diagnostics industry has a new opportunity available for a Global Access, Connectivity Solutions Manager, located in Nairobi, Kenya.

One will be the link with external stakeholders at the regional level, maintain key relations with internal stakeholders (Global Marketing/Product Development, Customer Care, Regional Commercial teams) and ensure the companies’ connectivity strategy fits in correctly.

Essential Qualifications and Experience required:

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of related work experience OR Master’s degree in field with 6+ years of related

   work experience

• Working knowledge of the healthcare information technology landscape, clinical workflow, and laboratory testing interoperability
• Demonstrated knowledge of process improvement and laboratory optimization
• Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7, ASTM, FHIR, POCT01A, LOINC,

   SNOMED

• Experience with database administration with emphasis in emerging technologies
• Deep knowledge on telecommunication and engineering industry
• Broad understanding of international information security standards and patient confidentiality in Healthcare
• Experience with networking protocols and data encryption standards
• Ability to interface at a highly technical level with assurance and confidence
• Experience in Global Health is essential
• Language: English fluency, French desirable
