Job & Company Description A growing international organisation is looking for a commercially minded and highly adaptable Global Supply Chain Manager to establish and directly manage its developing supply chain operation. This is not a role where you simply inherit a mature supply chain and manage an established team. You will be expected to be hands-on , personally drive key activities, solve operational challenges and introduce practical processes that can scale as the organisation grows. UCG_JD Global Supply Chain Mana… You will coordinate across suppliers, Procurement, Finance, Sales, freight partners and country operations to ensure products are available at the right time, at an appropriate cost and with clear visibility across the supply chain . Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end supply chain planning and coordination across multiple countries, suppliers and internal stakeholders. Develop practical demand, replenishment and supply plans , balancing availability, lead times, inventory and working capital. Take ownership of inventory visibility, reorder points, safety stock, stock ageing and order fulfilment . Coordinate international shipments across air, sea, road and courier , working closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers and 3PL providers. Oversee outsourced warehousing, distribution, freight and customs services across applicable markets. Establish scalable SOPs, trackers, controls, reporting routines and supply chain processes . Identify supply, inventory, logistics and continuity risks and implement practical mitigation plans. UCG_JD Global Supply Chain Mana… Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business Administration or a related discipline APICS\/ASCM CSCP or CPIM certification would be advantageous. UCG_JD Global Supply Chain Mana… Experience & Skills Required Approximately 7-10 years' relevant experience across inventory, logistics, planning and end-to-end supply chain operations. Proven experience coordinating international shipments, freight providers, 3PLs and multi-country stakeholders . Strong exposure to inventory management, demand\/replenishment planning and order fulfilment . Experience managing international freight and logistics costs. Strong understanding of customs, import\/export and trade-compliance requirements . Experience personally executing supply chain activities - not only managing established teams. Experience building or improving processes within a start-up, growing, lean or relatively unstructured environment . Strong Excel , data, reporting and operational tracking capability. ERP, inventory-management or WMS exposure advantageous.
