Position Overview:

A leading world-renowned pioneer in the pharmaceutical industry of IVD Devices and Medical Diagnostics has a new position available for a Government Affairs and Access Lead.

The main purpose of this position will be to design and implement stakeholder engagement strategies for customer groups and markets within sSA that develop and grow meaningful relationships that enable the communication of the company’s strategic portfolio’s to relevant public and selected private sector stakeholders. To develop and drive the implementation of patient access strategies in conjunction with the Access team focusing on key internal and external stakeholders to drive optimal access to strategic healthcare solutions in the public and private sector within Africa.

Essential Experience, Qualifications and Skills Required:

Minimum Requirements:

• Completed NQF 7/8 qualification in a relevant Scientific or Medical field
• 5 - 7 Years’ experience in Health Sciences role, with a strong track record in Market Access, Stakeholder Engagement and Government Affairs.
• 3 - 5 Years’ Management experience
• 2 - 3 Years’ People Leadership experience
• Must be willing to travel nationally and internationally
• Must have knowledge of the Healthcare Industry’s Laws, Regulations and Policies
• Must possess knowledge of the sSA Healthcare systems
