JOB SUMMARY:
A leading JSE listed Packaging Manufacturing Company is seeking a graduate to join the organisation and to gain an in-depth working knowledge of processes and be involved in designing processes, upgrading and renovating new plants, conducting risk assessments and ensuring health and safety processes are adhered to.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements for the role:

South African candidates are preferred.
A tertiary qualification in Electrical Mechatronics or Mechatronics is essential.
Must be open to a rotational training programme that is work in projects, technical, maintenance and production.
Must have a technical sales personality with the ability to work within a team.
Must live within the area or be willing to relocate.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English is essential.
Must be organised and have good planning and administration skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Working closely with the Engineering Manager within the Engineering / Projects Drawing Office.
Assisting in the process of selecting and procuring equipment.
Assisting in the developing and implementing of preventative measures for existing structural conditions.
Striving to achieve the asset mechanical reliability (AMR) business objectives and assisting the Operations Team in meeting asset capability (AC) objectives.
Assisting the Technical Team in providing technical knowledge in reliability improvements, troubleshooting, repairs and equipment design requirements.
Participating in and assisting with the development and maintenance of equipment strategies.
Assisting with the development and evaluation of solutions for most effective technology (MET).
Gaining knowledge on economic principals in engineering and maintenance strategies.

Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
