POSITION INFO:
About the Role As a Graduate \/ Junior Geophysicist, you will support the planning and execution of airborne geophysical surveys to analyse the Earth's subsurface. You'll work with advanced technology to collect and interpret data that supports natural resource exploration, geological mapping, and environmental assessments - gaining hands-on experience across fieldwork, data processing, and collaboration with experts across the industry. What You Will Do Support the planning and execution of airborne geophysical surveys Use specialised equipment to collect high-quality geophysical data Assist in analysing and interpreting data to build 3D models and geological reports Work closely with engineers, pilots, and scientists in a dynamic field environment Contribute to projects supporting exploration and environmental initiatives Develop proficiency in tools such as ArcGIS Pro, LiDAR processing, and related geospatial software What Will Set You Apart Practical experience with complex datasets, GIS, or remote sensing tools (academic, research, or work-based) SACNASP registration (Cand.Sci.Nat) or working toward registration A track record of academic distinction, research output, or conference participation Comfort working both independently and within multidisciplinary field teams Why Choose a Career in Geophysics?
