SUMMARY:
Our client in the engineering and machining sector is seeking a skilled Grinder Operator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for precision grinding and related mechanical tasks, contributing to the production of high-quality components.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain cylindrical and surface grinding machines.
Perform grinding operations on machine parts, sub-assemblies, and components.
Work with various mechanical processes, tools, and machines.
Conduct inspections to ensure quality standards and tolerances are met.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and efficient work environment.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in grinding operations.
Fitter and Turner trade qualification or equivalent relevant qualification.
Experience with precision grinding machines (e.g., AMC, AZ, Zocca, Berco, Smaltz, or similar).
Strong understanding of mechanical processes and tolerances.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
