JOB SUMMARY:
A market leader within the construction industry is current seeking to recruit a qualified Chartered Accountant to take on the role of the Group Accountant.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client is an independent next generation organization, who is currently seeking to recruit a professional individual to fill the role of their Group Accountant. Our client has been in operations for more than quarter of a century and is a noteworthy employer of choice. The successful individual must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Duties:

Managing the monthly variance analysis and providing commentary on the financial performance.
Consolidation of the Group budget for the management reporting pack.
Preparation of the Group consolidated financial statements.
Managing the corporate month end accounting process.
Supervising junior accounting staff.
Preparation of the monthly management reports.

Qualification and Experience:

Qualified CA(SA)
3 – 5 years post article experience
Must come from the engineering / construction industry

Skills:

Advanced excel knowledge
Hyperion
