A market leader in the insurance industry seeks an experienced and innovative Group Management Accountant to join their finance team based in Centurion.

Job & Company Description:
A market leader in the insurance industry seeks an experienced and innovative Group Management Accountant to join their finance team based in Centurion.

*Please note the team is working on a hybrid working model and a reliable internet connection and office setup is required for the successful incumbent.

Duties include, but not limited to:
Weekly and daily cashflow
CIPC liaision and related duties
Review OPEX – Payroll
CIODA submissions and liaison
Compliance
Learnership allowances
SARS e-filing, liaison and submission
TAX / VAT
Full management accounting function
Operational budgets and forecasting
Internal and external audits
Annual financial statements for the group
Consolidations
Prudential Authority

Education:
BCom in finance or accounting
CIMA will be advantageous

Skills & Experience:
5 to 6 years' experience in a similar position is essential
Management experience is non-negotiable
Experience in insurance and reinsurance reporting
Strong on reconciliations
SAP experience advantageous
Sound knowledge and understanding of related financial legislation and processes
Financial acumen
Strong personality
Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment
Team player
