JOB SUMMARY:
Are you a Chartered Accountant with a flair for complex consolidations? Are you interested in working for one of Southern Africa’s largest mobile telecommunications companies? If so, continue reading! An all rounded; listed on JSE concern is looking for a well-rounded, analytical and well-spoken Group Accountant – CA(SA) with 3 years post articles experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job and Company description:

My client is one of the largest mobile telecommunications companies in Southern Africa, running for more than 20 years with just over 12 million customers. They are in search of a Group Accountant who is well-versed on both HFM and Sage to head up a Southern-African team and to take the company to new heights.

As Group Accountant you will be responsible for:

Group consolidations
Group reporting and annual financial statements
Year and half year reporting
Assistance in preparation of statutory reporting
Quarterly reporting
Analysis of group balance sheet and reporting variances
Preparation of consolidated financial statements
Review of balance sheet recons

Job Experience and Skills Required:

CA(SA) – Non negotiable
Expert on HFM and Sage – Non negotiable
Experience with consolidations of foreign currency
