Our client is a listed company within the Financial Services and Insurance sector. They are a leader in their field of expertise and they've been in operation for over 25 years. They are currently recruiting for a Group Accountant that ideally comes from the same industry. The successful incumbent for the role must have extensive Group Reporting and Complex Consolidations experience.

Duties:

Reporting on day-to-day activities for the Group
Group Income Statements & Cashflow Reporting
Consolidated Annual Financial Statements
Consolidated Management Reports
Forex Conversions
Budgets & Forecasts
Actual vs Budget
Internal & External Audit Engagement
Stakeholder Engagement
Preparation of Board Packs
Update & Upkeep of Accounting Systems
Financial Control & Governance
Risk Management
Assistance with Accounting Queries
Adhoc duties

If you meet the below criteria, apply today!

Qualifications & Experience:

Qualified Chartered Accountant CA(SA) registered with SAICA
Must have 6-10 years' post articles experience within the commercial sector
Must have at least 5 years' solid Group Reporting & Complex Consolidations experience within a large, listed environment
IFRS 17 training and/or experience highly advantageous
Must have a stable track record, no job hoppers
Must have a passion for Strategic and Regulatory Reporting
