Group Accountant (JB1933)

Bendor, Polokwane

R850 000 – R950 000 CTC per Annum

Duration: Permanent

Overview

Property development and management company requires the expertise of a seasoned Group Accountant to coordinate, review and supervise the accounting activities throughout various subsidiaries, associates and JV’s of the Group.

Minimum Requirements:

Completed finance or accounting degree, honours preferred

8 or more years’ experience as an Accountant

5 or more years’ experience specific to a Group Accountant role

Previous Xero experience preferred

Duties and Responsibilities:

Act as custodian of the Group’s Accounts

Ensure integrity of the Group’s monthly Trial balance

Design and prepare Group quarterly Management Accounts

Prepare Consolidated Annual Financial Statements

Ensure regulatory and legal compliance is adhered to throughout the Group

Preparation of the Group cashflow forecasts

Ensure Audit readiness of the Group

Complete and report on Monthly and quarterly management accounts

Complete onboarding checklist for all new Subsidiaries, Associates and Joint Ventures

Monthly compliance audit report of the group
